Our gardens are extensions of our homes, places to relax, eat outside, let the kids run about and have friends over. We work closely with you from the first conversation to the final sweep-up, turning a wish list into a layout that suits the way you actually live.
Because we handle turfing, artificial grass, decking, fencing, sleeper beds, slab laying and planting ourselves, you deal with one team from start to finish rather than juggling several trades.

Turf that takes
Nothing changes a garden as quickly as a new lawn. Turf gives you a usable, weed-free lawn straight away, but only if the ground beneath it is right. We dig or rotovate at least 150mm deep, improve the soil, firm and level it to the right gradient and add pre-fertiliser before a single roll goes down. When we finish, we will leave you with simple aftercare advice to keep it looking new all year.
Under the surface
How we lay new turf
The finish is what you see; the layers underneath are what make it last. This is exactly what goes in, in the order we lay it.
- 1 Dug or rotovated 150mm+
The ground is broken up at least 150mm deep so new roots have somewhere to go.
- 2 Improved topsoil
Topped up with good-quality soil, firmed and levelled to the right gradient.
- 3 Pre-fertiliser
Added before the turf goes down to help the roots take quickly.
- 4 Fresh turf
Rolled out over the prepared ground, with aftercare advice so it stays green all year.

How do I look after new turf?
New turf needs a little more care than regular mowing at first. When the job is finished we will explain exactly what to do so your lawn roots well and stays green.
