Beeston
Working in Beeston
Beeston sits on the south-west edge of Nottingham, with the University of Nottingham on one side, the Boots headquarters on another and the tram running right through the town centre. Down towards Beeston Rylands the streets run out to the canal and the River Trent.
Housing here ranges from Victorian terraces and 1930s semis to newer homes, so one week we might be laying a compact courtyard patio and the next a full family garden with lawn, decking and fencing.
Whatever you have in mind, whether a new patio, a block paved drive, fresh turf or artificial grass, decking, fencing or sleeper beds, we will visit, talk it through and give you a clear, no-obligation quote.
Local know-how
What works well in Beeston gardens
-
Tired patios, new life
If your patio is still made of tired old concrete slabs, a new sandstone or porcelain patio laid on a proper base is one of the quickest ways to transform the garden.
-
Levels and drainage
Closer to the Trent we pay particular attention to falls and levels, so new patios and lawns shed rainwater the way they should.
-
Off-road parking
A block paved driveway gives you somewhere to park and a smarter frontage, built on at least 150mm of compacted hardcore so it stays level.

What our customers say
STL is rated 5.0 out of 5 on Google. Here is what homeowners say about working with Sean and the team.
Brilliant work and fantastic service! Sean transformed my garden by replacing the decking with a patio, the rotting sleepers with walls and large unruly hedge with a neat fence. It's given me loads more usable space in the garden and I can now see out of my kitchen window.
Sean and his team have made a fantastic job of transforming our square patch of concrete into a beautiful garden, with a raised bed, two patio areas and an artificial grass lawn. They worked so hard in the extremely hot weather and they were genuinely a pleasure to have around.
I wouldn't go to anyone else but Sean for outside work! He's done two patios & a driveway for me and absolutely thrilled with everything. Sean & the lads always do a quality job, excellent value for money, and lovely guys too!
Sean and the lads have transformed our very small front garden, which had a lawn the size of a postage stamp!… I cannot fault their hardworking ethos. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend STL paving and landscaping.
Sean and his staff replaced our old patio with a wider one, gave us a new step and built 2 wooden raised beds. Very pleased with the final result. Good communication throughout, always polite and happy to respond to any issues or change requests.
Top quality service, would highly recommend. A complete transformation of our garden was achieved with excellent communication throughout and no fuss professional work.
